Hey everyone! I recently spent a weekend in London on a budget and wanted to share my experience and tips for solo female travellers. It was an amazing adventure, and I managed to do it all without breaking the bank. Here’s how my trip went:

Day 1: Departure and Arrival

8:00 AM – Departure from Warwick

I caught an early train from Warwick to London Euston. Pro tip: Book your tickets in advance and use a Railcard for discounts. I packed my own breakfast to save a bit more money.

10:00 AM – Arrive in London

I chose a budget-friendly hostel in South Kensington. YHA London Central was a great choice – it’s central, safe, and affordable.

Covent Garden was vibrant and full of life. I enjoyed the street performers and window-shopped at the market stalls.

For dinner, I headed to Chinatown and found some delicious and budget-friendly options at BaoziInn.

8:00 PM – Evening Walk Along the South Bank

I ended my day with a peaceful walk along the South Bank, enjoying the beautiful views of the city at night.

Day 2: Budget-Friendly Discoveries

8:00 AM – Breakfast at Gail’s Bakery

I started my day with a delicious yet affordable breakfast at Gail’s Bakery. Their pastries are amazing!

9:00 AM – Visit the Tower of London

While entry to the Tower of London is a bit pricey, I got discounted tickets by booking online. Even just exploring the surrounding area is worth it.

I took the tube to Notting Hill and wandered through the charming streets and Portobello Road Market.

5:00 PM – Relax in Hyde Park

Hyde Park was the perfect place to unwind. I brought a book and enjoyed the serene atmosphere.

6:30 PM – Budget Dinner at Pizza Union

Pizza Union in King's Cross served up delicious and affordable pizzas – a great way to end the day.

8:00 PM – Free Evening Entertainment

I took advantage of free evening entertainment at Southbank Centre and Angel Comedy Club. Both offered fantastic, cost-free fun.

10:00 PM – Return to Accommodation

After a packed day, I headed back to my hostel, reflecting on my wonderful adventure and prepping for my journey back to Warwick the next morning.
